Greetings from Rhode Island,

The 2003 National Melkite Convention State, and From our Pastor Archimandrite Joseph S. Haggar, an the host Parish of St. Basil the Greek Melkite Catholic Church in Lincoln, Rhode Island.

We are excited that the Convention, a much-needed religious , educational, and social gathering, will be held again after a three year absence.

The schedule is a full mix of religious services, stimulating and informative workshops for all ages, interesting speakers and topics, discussions, meetings for all national organizations, luncheons, religious store and an array of spectacular social events.

Evenings will dazzle you with the best entertainment, scrumptious cuisine, fun and dancing.  There is something for everyone - activities, poolside parties, and after hours get-togethers.

Conventions have become family gatherings as well as vacation opportunities for many.  Arrive early.  Tour Rhode Island, "America's First Resort".  Enjoy the flavor of the Ocean State and its many beautiful attractions.  We may the smallest state in the union, but we'll surely give you the BIGGEST WELCOME!
