This year's convention - the last Melkite convention of the millennium - will be held at the Hilton Burbank Airport & Convention Center Hotel from Wednesday July 7th 19999 through Sunday July 11, 1999. We have chosen the above theme for this special time: "Together in Christ - Shaping the Future of our Church." Each of us, with our unique gifts, offer a different color, shape and taste to this great mosaic of the American Melkite Church. As God's creation is a mosaic, you are a necessary part of this mosaic!

The National Association of Melkite Youth Pre-Convention Retreat invites all youth between the ages of 13 and 18 to attend this dynamic Youth retreat. Pack your bags and get on board. Join other Melkite Youth like yourself from around the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Renew old acquaintances and make new friends. You'll enjoy dynamic speaker, music, great skits, sports, spirituality a time for sharing, and just plain fun. All for the All-inclusive cost of $100 per person (includes all lodging, meals, activities, entertainment. St. Anne Melkite Church, this year's host, is also celebrating the 90th Anniversary of their parish. The parishioners of St. Anne are looking forward to welcoming all to their church and to one of the most exciting cities in the world. They are close to all the major attractions like Universal Studios, Magic Mountain, Disneyland, Beverly Hills, and (of course) Hollywood!
