Thanks to the work of Fr. George Bisharat, of St. Jacob Melkite Catholic Mission in San Diego, CA, a bilingual calendar (in English with Arabic feast days) is now available.  It includes the address of all the Melkite parishes and missions throughout the United States.  This beautiful calendar also lists the ordination dates of the our American clergy.

The overall dimensions of the calendar are 11 by 21, with the date area being over 8 inches by 11 inches.  The quality of this outstanding calendar can not be properly shown here - but this would make a treasured gift and great reminder of our communion with the saints and our heritage.  On the back of each monthly calendar page is a brief description of the commemorated saints.

Example: "January 15th - Our venerable fathers, Paul of Thebes and John the "Tent Dweller."  Paul was the First Hermit.  He fled into the desert of Egypt during the reign of Emperor Decius  and died about A.D. 343.  John was of famous parentage and received tonsure in the monastery of Cenobites in the reign of Leo the Great, Emperor (457-474).
